Boarding life was crap when I first came in. The place was so dirty, I lost my appetite for almost a week. I brought my camera but I did not take any pictures because I lost my appetite for taking picures too.
Anywho, I wanted to do this later when I've taken pictures of school but since it's raining and my whole body is aching from tennis camp yesterday where we went dragon boating and i live on the 4th floor with no lift and i've been climbing up and down a few times to do laundry, i'd figure i'd be better of staying in and uh... doing this. (Note to Self: Crap! I haven't studied.)
PS. Tennis camp was fun! We bonded. LoL.
So...
This my dear friends, is RI. They just merged with the secondary school, so it's called RI(JC). Horrible name. I know. I still prefer RJC. Anywho, I didn't take a picture of RIB lobby though... It's really nice. Like hotel. But you'd be fooled by the outer beauty.
Anywho, the people you see are from tennis. We were about to go to J8, the nearest shopping centre from RI(JC). You'll see more of them in the days to come. I hope. =)
Speaking of tennis, I had tennis camp yesterday and we were at the Hodge Lodge. The Hodge Lodge is a place to chill IN RI(JC). They have board games, Wii!! and also a...
Mini theatre!
Amazing. I know. Far cry from IJC even though it's just missing an R. They even have a dark room for Photog, which i didn't join... Still contemplating... But anyways, the list of facilities will just go on and on man.
Anywho, this is my room.
It's much nicer now that my mum and I cleaned it. I didn't want to take a before an after picture because i don't want it to crack my phone's camera.
Anywho, more photos:
My snack shelf. ^^
Pictures from home. =D
This is the view outside my bedroom window. I'm quite lucky to get this bed. Seriously... It could have been much worst, like getting the one near the toilet... I hope I get to keep this room and bed next year. Although nothing beats home and I still do wish I could stay at home, I think it could have been much much worst, despite the stupid security measures i have to take to keep my things safe. But I guess that is normal, now that I'm living with people.
But back to the hygiene, I guess I have to start turning off some (not all) of my OCD-ness. In fact, I think i've improved over the pass few weeks. =) I'm starting to settle. Except tennis training. it's still crazy. Physical is crazy. Physical is crazy not just in tennis where we do sprints and push ups and sit-ups and 2.4km runs and board jumps and pull ups and shuttle run and beep test back to back, but it's also crazy in PE. Back home, PE is FUN. Here, PE is CRAZY. But as for tennis's craziness, i guess I'd have to deal with it 'cause i love the people whom support me and i love the game. ^^
Now, back to the tour...
This is the toilet that i use everyday. Don't be deceived by the beautiful composition. It's still dirty and there's a lot of hair on the floor. T.T
Oh! I did laundry today. Check out my socks!
I should get more colours... I know... I'm boring.
PS. I'm now an expert in folding undies. I shall document it should there be any requests. XD
Oh... My physics tutor is somewhat boring. I mean. Weird... She says the word "physics" in a very weird manner and she likes going off key. She said the word "right" 104 times in 40 minutes. O.O
Oh, but I like my math tutor! Although I miss Mr. Huan... But he's alright. Weird but alright. I seem to be getting a lot of weird tutors/lecturers.
Anyway, my roommates and their living quarters, literally quarters:
Her name is Zhiping. She's from China. She came since Sec 3 i think... Sleeps a lot but super smart. She pawns lectures ALL THE TIME. She scored 2350 on her SATs. My idol. Oh, she's my first roomie by the way.
On to the second.
Her name's Yee Won. She likes using the computer. I think. She's smart too. Okay, I think everyone's smart except me but anyway, she's MALAYSIAN. XD From Kuantan. So yeah... =) Been here since Sec 1 I think... Or was it 3?
Anywho... the final one.
Her name is Olivia. She's from Hong Kong. She's not in RI(JC) though... She's studying in Anderson JC. She likes watching anime... and she likes gaming. She's in band and she's getting a base! Yay! We can form a band! XD
I think I've got pretty good roomies... I feel lucky to have them. It makes staying in boarding easier when the people you live with shares and cares and aren't assholes. I'm not taking pictures of the faces yet because... I dunno. XD Maybe cause I like candid shots and I think we'll take a group photo one day when we're out having fun. =)
Well, that's about all I guess... I do have some pictures of unpacking the iPhone though...
It's a nice feeling. Just like the Mac. XD
Oh, my mum was with me when we got my phone obviously... This was the first picture I took and you know what?
There's gonna be more to come! =D
PS. Again, thanks mum! Not just for the phone and for being there with me every step of the way (when I was depressed about boarding life).
PPS. This was taken with the iPhone. I'm amazed by the 2.0MP quality.
PPPS. I didn't take pictures of my boarding games rooms cause i don't really go there, I didn't take pictures of the dining hall cause it just didn't happen, it's quite nice though and I didn't take pictures of my boarding pantry cause it looked like some one died in there. (Note to Self: try to take more pictures.)
