Mummy says I should write this down in my journal. But I don't have a journal anymore, so here I am! Haven't been blogging for quite a while anyway. But again, I'm here only to say..... what I tweeted. ie. I thought I was gonna be Betty Suarez, but things turned out pretty awesome! :DDD
BYE!

Ok, before I go, elaboration! (Sorry, couldn't help it, you know how long-winded I am. :P)
Yes, it was my first day at work, yesterday, and it was great! There I was, worried I'd be underdressed (I don't even have a pair of slacks that fit!) and/or out of place (hence the Betty Suarez). Being put in a new setting, it was a refreshing feeling, having been in my comfort zone for quite awhile. But all that worry was just interest paid for trouble that hasn't occurred yet (quoted from the awesome Meryl Streep "Dark Matter")!
I'm now working for 2 super doooper friendly sisters who founded thepoplook.com. Yeap. I'm part of the NEXT BIG THING YO! Haha. Be envious, be very envious. But small part, I must say. I started of with packaging, then moved on to the uh customer service, replying e-mails to process orders, etc. The working environment's nice and casual, complemented with super friendly colleagues. I think it's very conducive for work productivity. Time passes real fast when you're there, and you feel pretty accomplished at the end of the day. Perhaps it's time to revolutionise offices around the globe? ;)
Ok. I know it's probably trivial to most of you guys out there... and it isn't even relevant to what I'll be studying... But uh... this is proof that I'm doing something useful with my 10 month holiday! Ok. Irrelevant nonsense following the "but" cause I don't really know what to say. No insights at this point (or since ever), but at this point in time, I'd say it's been a great experience. I think the days to come with thepoplook.com IS going to be great! Albeit short.
But yep. Done narrating. Sorry if I bored you, it's just for self-reference. For the future and all. If the changing of magnetic poles doesn't wipe out all electronic data. Or if the world doesn't end... so yeapers! Here's me looking forward to the days to come!
(Especially the days to come when I'm a proud owner of a Canon EF-S 17-55 f/2.8 IS USM. Which should be in 2 weeks. WOOHOO! Mebbe a red band lens since I'm now on a payroll? Just sayin'. XD)

A prize to keep my eyes on.
Except change the 1:4 to 1:2.8-ish?
How awesome it'd be, complemented with my 17-55-to-be, on a crop.
*dreams with smileyface :)*
