Today, I hereby retract my "sunscreen is just a scam" hypothesis.

As some of you might have already known, I was in Tioman last weekend. I must say, it was great, I had a blast; good snorkelling, good drinking, good company. Basically, all's good.

So today, just a few moments ago, while I was changing, I noticed a MEGA dark solid circle on my back. Huge, the size of a basketball. And it was easily 10 times darker than my recently sun-tanned skin, which is essentially my whole body except areas covered by the swimsuit, and that circle. I was wondering where that came from.. for a moment...

Then in struck me.

I had my shirt on when. I. was. putting. on. sunscreen.

Yes! I covered my face, my neck, my shoulders, and everything else I thought I thought of. BUT. I just had to miss the "hole" in my swimsuit, the one right at the back, where the mega dark circle now conveniently lies.

Like WTF. Now I'm Chinese, Malay, and Indian. (<--teehee!) Can you just picture that? Zzz.

Anyway, since we're on the topic of Tioman, here's a picture of the mega awesome us!

Of bus rides and butt aches. Of ferries and kiasu queuing. Of crystal clear turquoise seas and mega cold waters. Of pretty beaches and sunburns. Of generous BBQ buffets and antisocial iPhone moments. Of German big bands and people too cool to sit. Of vodka and loony loons after the 7 game. Of private boat-Ferraris and vomit. Of corals and the attack of the fishies when bread is present. Of turtles and baby jellyfishies. Of fried chicken and fats. Of an awesome group of people and irreplaceable moments the camera couldn't capture.

I enjoyed every single second.

I would have uploaded a picture of my nekkid back. But it would have scarred you for life.
