Hong Kong and stuff. Short and sweet. Longgg. XD

Yearp. It's back from Hong Kong and back to school. Y'know... I pretty much forgot most that's happened in Hong Kong, (considering the fact that I've got STML, it's not my fault), so photos (and all that I remember) are all that you're getting! ;D

So... Why Hong Kong?

Raffles Tennis. :)

Who went?

Uh... pretty much all the peeps in the photo (XD) and uh... those that are missing from the frame. (XD again.) So it's basically, the whole team, aside from 1 guy and 4 girls who were occupied with other stuff. Ms. Lio and Ms. Tan, our tennis Teacher ICs, and Coach Weber went too. :)

So... how was the food?

Okay I guess... I especially liked the uber fattening condense milk buns. But aside from that, we didn't have much time to look for good food (and shop), because, well, it's a tennis trip! We trained in the mornings and we had friendlies at night.

Btw, not all the photos were taken from my camera, esp. the group ones and the friendlies, and I'm lazy to get it from Lyn so... oh well. But y'know, we did meet HK's Women's No. 1, Jennifer Sher, which is prolly Stef Tan's equivalent. She was sooo good! She's studying sport science in the states now. Sooo cool. She's nice too. Heh. She remembered me and she added me on FB! XDDD

Omg. I'm rambling 'bout details and I sound like a weird little girl who doesn't have any friends. (Mavis Gan's an example.)

MOVING ON!

I meant back to thhe picture. Teehee~

We played a card game with WASABI FORFEITS! So FUN! Hahahah! (I should come up with a name for that game.) Too bad no pictures of people crying. DRATS!

Oh... We did go for this buffet at Eaton Hotel, where we were staying, and the sashimi was awesome! I just learnt how to appreciate sashimi a month ago, when Cheryllyn got me to try some. I tried it before and I didn't like it. I thought it was crap. Rip off. Why pay so much for raw fish? Bleh!

BUT NOW IT'S JUST AWESOME STUFF! Omg. So creamy and yum! <333

Hehe. So, what else did we do?

Hong Kong Tennis Classics yo! My first world class tennis tournie I've ever been too!

Well, apparently I've been to Wimbledon? But uh... I was so young... amnesia dude!

Anywhos, more on HK Tennis Classic:

Maria Sharapova was there... Venus Williams, Michael Chang, Stephen Edberg, Paradorn Srichapan, Zheng Jie, Ayumi Morita, Kafelnifov... Marat Safin was supposed to come, but uh... wrist injury. Drats. Would have been awesome to have seen him play... But honestly, who I realllly wanna watch is Pete Sampras. My heroooo! He was the reason why I wanted Nadal to beat Federer - 'cause I didn't want Federer to beat Sampras' record of 14 Gran Slam titles.

No, I'm not a fan of Nadal.

In any case, here are some pictures (of people other than Nadal)!

That's Venus Williams cutting the ribbons...

...and Maria Sharapova serving (and subsequently, winning) in the first match. :)

*Clears Throat* Yes. I know the pictures look so awful (and Sharapova's outfit is like wtf bleh!) 'cause I cropped it due to my lack of telephoto lens... All the people there were like having those mega telephoto zooms and THEY WERE HUGE! Like 100-400 mm or something. "L" lenses, my dear friends!

Bleh!

MUMMY...! I NEED A NEW LENS!!!

Btw.

I FREAKIN' MET MARIA SHARAPOVA WHEN SHE WAS COMING OUT OF THE STADIUM!

You see... I was on my way back from the toilet while another match just started. So, most of the people were seated and away from the stadium gates, thus making that uh... meet(?) almost perfect 'cause there wasn't anyone around but me and her (and her 6 bodyguards)!

Why only almost perfect?

I didn't talk to her.

HAHAH! I just froze! I SHOULD HAVE SAID SOMETHING! Like "Awesome game there!" or "I love you Maria Sharapova!", even though I don't...

But yeah! You get my point! It's so amazing to be 1 meter away from some one who had her dream come true at such a young age! It just gives you... inspiration.

Anywhos, the worst part is, despite my intuitions to do the exact opposite, I still went to the toilets WITHOUT MY CAMERA! As in, I had this really strong feeling that I was going to meet some one, but I ignored it anyway.

Bleh! What a bummer!

Well, things weren't all that bad. *Look Below*

YEASH! I CAUGHT AN AUTOGRAPHED BALL!

It says, "Jesus Loves Ya! M.CH". I didn't snap the "M.CH" part cause I actually thought I was snapping the dude's name, whoever it was, at that point in time. Hahah! THE HANDWRITING WAS SO HARD TO MAKE OUT! At least I got it the right side up. LoL.

Anywhos, tennis players, I'm sure you would have guessed it by now... Yes. It is, indeed, Michael Chang. Omg. The power of google. XD

Anywhos (again)... the days went by pretty quick. Before I even had enough food, I was already on my way back.

Oh nooo! I didn't get my Vans! I JUST REALIZED, AGAIN! The knock-offs were only RM60. But I thought the lady wanted to con me 'cause there were defects...

BLEHHH! Never mind. Saving up for rainy day. ;)

****************

So yeah... back in Malacca, I had my own "Welcome-Home Committee". How awesome is that?

I HAD AN ENTOURAGE, PEOPLE! Hahaha. 3 cars. LoL.

One of the drivers was... Ms. Felicia See.

Omg. Scary. Hahaha. Thank gawd Carynn was my driver. I gave her lotsa kit kats.
Ain't I just a doll? XD

Anyway.... first stop - bah kut teh!

Then we went to Feli's to uh... study.

But we ended up Facebook-ing and YouTube-ing.

While the crazy lady went on with her psychotic-ness, while Ms. Stef Tay fuelled it...

T_T much. XD

***************

Heh. Well, I'm back back back in Singapore now.

First day of school was alright... Timetable's pretty crappy but I just found out we've got a new GP tutor. Ms. Edlyn Ang. She came in with direction. She had goals and she showed us how we could achieve those goals. I like. :)

Oh! AND! She read/interpreted my handwriting!

She said I'm a people person, but I like my personal space at the same time. I'm intelligent and I think in patterns... May grin in the MRT sometimes 'cause I figured something out. (LoL. I'm not commenting.) Anywhos... she said I'm ambitious, but I have my insecurities. Pretty idealistic and sometimes I have these fanatical ideas I just wanna run away with. Can be pressured to please people... and I put my family before me. But good balance between self and family though......

Haha. She's pretty damn accurate. Who would have known? XD

Wonder why she didn't say anyting about my confidence though...

*GASPPPPPPPPPPPP!*

PS. I went trekking on the Dragon's Back and I took a photograph with wax figure - MICHELLE YEOH at The Peak too!
PPS. New rules for new year: Fried food only once or twice a week to lose weight. Cut down on intake too. Uh... finish tutorials before tutorials and do extra work during the weekends. Plus, at least 2 articles a day. I'm already onto my 2nd day and ON COURSE! Would you look at that! :)))
